Scarlet Relic Grunge necklace

Scarlet Relic is the first necklace from my autumn-inspired collection, created around the darker side of the season — deep colours, raw textures, metallic details and a touch of gothic romance.

I handmade this statement necklace using irregular scarlet-painted glass fragments, layered together to create a bold, textured composition. Each fragment catches the light differently, giving the necklace a rich, almost jewel-like appearance.

The glass is combined with stainless steel beads, chain and findings, finished with a dramatic spiked heart pendant at the centre.

The contrast between the deep red glass and silver-toned steel gives Scarlet Thorn its grunge-inspired character, while the heart and thorn-like details bring a darker romantic feeling to the piece.

Every necklace is individually assembled by me, so the arrangement and natural variations of the glass make each piece unique.

Care

Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, oils and harsh chemicals. Store in a dry place when not wearing and preferably separately from other jewellery to help protect the glass finish and metal.
