Old pieces, new life.
I created Ash & Stones by giving a vintage necklace a new life, reworking its old beads and combining them with a large natural quartz stone and cascading stainless steel chains.
The muted black, grey and smoky tones remind me of ash-covered stones — raw, weathered and quietly beautiful. The pale quartz creates a striking contrast against the darker vintage beads, while the long stainless steel chains bring an industrial edge to the piece.
I love working with vintage elements because they already carry a story. Instead of letting these beads disappear into the past, I transformed them into something completely new.
